Top billing this week has to go to the slimline Colin Chapman who registered his first hatrick in decades as the over 45’s dispatched Hannakins Farm 8-1. Another hatrick hero in the game was Martin Henderson with other contributions coming from his brother John and Ollie Watson.
The EOL 1st team emerged with all 3 points from their trip to previously unbeaten Galleywood. A brace from Harry Hatt securing victory by the odd goal in three.
The Reserves travelled to Buckhurst Hill looking to move off the foot of the table but returned empty handed as the home side ran out 4-2 winners despite debut goals from Billy Calder and Alessander Cook.
In the only other game Shenfield Vets A shared 6 goals with Hutton Old Boys. Dom Barrett, Martin King and Greg Campbell with the goals.
With 5 Shenfield games this weekend we should have a good turn out at the Eagle. Please remember to hand your 100 club forms into Simon Hearn as I will not be around (again!)
